I was able to directly observe the tutoring session and was pleased that she didn't do the work for him, but expected him to do the work and explain it to her so she could make sure he understood each step of the process. I thought she was positively wonderful and was disappointed that my son's feedback... she was "OK". He stated that he did understand her and she explained things very well, but he did not feel a connection to her personally and prefers to keep looking for a tutor that is a better fit for him.
